As you may or may not know, there are a wide variety of\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ironmongeryworld.com\/door-hardware\/door-hinges\">Door Hinges<\/a>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ironmongeryworld.com\/cabinet-hardware\/cabinet-hinges\">Cabinet Hinges<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0available, with different features and characteristics, but they are many things to consider when installing a hinge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Install Different Types of Hinges Step-By-Step:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LOAD<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>How much load do you think your hinge can withstand? To determine this, you must ask yourself how much the door weighs, where is the door&#8217;s centre of gravity and what other loads will be applied to the door if any. There are number of theoretic calculations that can be made about load and strengths, but the best whenever possible is to test the hinge in your specific application if you are installing it yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CONCEALED OR EXTERNAL HINGES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Should you use a concealed or an external mounted hinge? To determine this, it is more of the question of how much space can you afford inside or outside the enclosure i.e., the space around hinge. Concealed hinges provide a clean outer panel and improved appearance and security. An External hinge offers greater strength and can allow for a greater door opening angle. They are also easier to fit during or after the design process, but you&#8217;ll most like be going for the external hinge for Kitchen Cabinets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">OPENING ANGLE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>How much does the door open? Concealed and external hinges have different limitations on their opening angles respectively. Concealed hinges usually have some limitations in the degrees opening angle, while the external hinges allow for 180 degrees or more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">APPEARANCE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We use different hinges on different kinds of builds, they usually fall in 4 categories. One of them being Exposed Hinges such as Butterfly Hinges and T-Hinges that typically sit on top of the wood and become a part of the look of whatever you&#8217;re building. The second are totally Concealed Hinges, which are specifically made and designed for kitchen or bathroom cabinets. Third is Butt Hinges, which are typically used for doors or large cabinets. The last are piano type hinges that come in varying lengths up to 2 meters and run continuously, not to mention you can cut to size of these type so hinges if you&#8217;re doing a custom build. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>How will the hinge be installed?
